Abstract Preparation Instructions:

Graduate students, postdoctors and young scientists are welcome to attend this worshop. Importantly, applicants also encouraged to submit a one-page abstract. Abstract must be written in English and contain a brief, clear statement of conclusion. All abbreviations must be defined before being used in the text. The text body should be not more than1,800 characters. The title should be not more than 100 characters. The Program and Abstract book will not be printed in color. The graphic should be considered as 600 characters in a text. Please remember that the area of the printed abstract is small and the graphic will be correspondingly smaller. Please save your diagrams at the correct size and in grey-scale (or at a much reduced color-depth) before including them in your abstract. The name of the presenting author must appear first in the  list of authors. Three keywords must be supplied.

Poster sessions:

Young scientists and students are encouraged to submit an abstract and prepare a poster of their work. Poster sessions will be organized during the workshop. The size of the poster should be 0.9mx1.2m.

Application (this part is for those who plans to attend the practice session):

Besides two and a half days of lectures, this workshop also contains one and a half days of practices with 3 groups:

Group I (about 10 persons) mainly deals with sample preparation and data collection. We recommend junior person who are interested in this field to attend this group.

Group II (15~20 persons) mainly deals with imaging processing.

Group III (about 5 persons) manly deals with high resolution EM imaging. We recommend senior person who have already accumulated lots of experiences in cryo-electron microscopy research field to attend this group.
